Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis

It is used across the organization for time cards, training, and for supervisors to access records. It combines several systems that were independent, which reduces multiple data entries and increases accuracy of information. It also allows employees access to their own records and the ability to edit things that they weren't able to prior.
  • User friendly
  • Intuitive
  • All encompassing
  • Implementation is parceled out into tiny fragments, making it difficult to get a vision for where you're headed.
  • There are too many separate specialists for all of the various modules.
  • More time with each specialist before being released would be helpful.
  • Reduction of duplicate entries
  • Increased accuracy
  • Carrier connection
ADP and a whole bunch of others. Ascentis was the only one that seemed like it might be able to do our fiscal management payroll. Several others said they could but didn't give us as much confidence. We also liked the reporting functions, however, they are not as robust as we had hoped for non-admin users.
Besides having far too many separate individuals on the team, we have had a very good experience with most of our Implementation team. The few times that we have had to use support, it gives us the impression that we will be satisfied post-implementation. That wasn't our experience at all with Sage.

Do you think Ascentis (discontinued) delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Ascentis (discontinued)'s feature set?

Yes

Did Ascentis (discontinued) live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Ascentis (discontinued) go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Ascentis (discontinued) again?

Yes

It's great for a small organization but I can't imagine what it would take to transfer records into Ascentis for a very large organization. More help with data transfer would be appreciated. Having workbooks to fill out and submit is okay but the salespeople promise that it's as easy as the click of a button and that is not the case.
