Overall Satisfaction with Assembly Neos

We use Assembly Neos as our client database, document retention & generation, creating settlement disbursement statements that include all possible fees/splits, case expenses, liens, etc. Neos has made my job easier in many areas. It is user friendly, secure, the training sessions are free and very detailed and they are offered continuously on all the features available per your plan. The customization of your documents is a huge feature IMO as many law firms seem to trade employees like it's the NBA so letterhead and staff info changes frequently.

Pros

  • Document creation and generation
  • Calculations necessary for settlement disbursement
  • Smooth integration with other apps and programs we use frequently.
  • Aesthetically pleasing

Cons

  • Firm employees added to Counsel and/or Contacts tab in each new case by default
  • The ability to drag & drop documents out of Neos
Assembly Neos is user friendly and offers so much training plus the knowledge base, it would be hard to remain uneducated on how pretty much the entire program works. I just attended a webinar two days ago for document coding and it was eye-opening. And I used to do document coding for merging pleadings at a former firm.
My current job uses Assembly Neos and my previous job used Needles and migrated to Neos. So far, Neos is superior to other legal practice case management programs. I have friends who work at larger firms locally who don't have any type of program like this and it blows my mind.

In my opinion, it's one the best legal case management programs I've used and I've been working in the legal field since my first job post high school and I'm now "twenty-nine". lol I've previously used Practice Panther, Clio and Amicus and the features in Assembly Neos blow them out of the water, legally.
