Overall Satisfaction with Assembly Neos

I use Assembly Neos at the law firm where I am employed. We use it as our case management system; it stores all of our open, settled, and closed files and the entire client database and case/court information. We use Assembly Neos to track the status of all of our files and use the billing feature to effectively capture all work done on each file.

Pros

  • Helps easily capture our caseload and progression of each matter
  • Organize tasks to complete and keep track of deadlines
  • The calendar feature is detailed and user friendly

Cons

  • The option to stop the automatic timer
  • Creating duplicate checklist items
  • Freezing and crashing
  • Helping keep everyone on track with what needs to be done task wise
  • You can easily see what work has been done on files and what is still pending
I learned how to use Assembly Neos very quickly. Adjusting to using Assembly Neos was simple, as it is extremely organized and user friendly. Even if you are not the most tech-savvy, it is almost impossible to struggle with this application. It has made my workflow easier to manage due to all of the features it offers.
Assembly Neos has a new and improved look. It is spaced out so it is easy on the eyes and the tabs along the left hand side make it easy to navigate to different areas of the program. With Time Matters, everything was very "compact" view wise, and felt like a very old program from the early 2000's which sometimes made it easier to lose track of certain tasks.

Assembly Neos is well suited when it comes to managing workloads, small or large. I feel it is a good application for all size businesses as it is customizable to your company's needs. It is very user friendly and helps you stay organized. It may not be as suitable for businesses or individuals with 5 or less employees, but that truly depends on what you need it for. The calendaring system and checklist items for "to-do's" could be utilized by any and everyone.
