Overall Satisfaction

  • AtTask allows customized reporting features that can be set up by for an individual or a department.
  • AtTask provides quick drag and drop of tasks within a project and allows easy creation of parent and child relationships.
  • AtTask can track issues and risks for individual projects or portfolios.
  • AtTask is very limited if not used by the entire enterprise. If the organization plans to only use it on a limited scale, it will not allow those without licenses to be assigned tasks.
  • AtTask should allow more than the few graphics it currently does with pie charts, bar charts, and bubble charts.
  • AtTask is not always timely in report delivery. If you set up an automatic report at a specific time, on occasion it may be off by hours.
  • AtTask has had limited ROI for the organization due to not being used enterprise-wide.
  • AtTask has provided better and more uniform updates to stakeholders and executives through the reporting features and milestone tracking.
  • AtTask has created a simple repository where all projects can be reviewed by the PMO for easier visibility of project statuses.
AtTask has great potential, but requires a significant investment by the organization to use it enterprise-wide. This will allow greater visibility to projects, easier reporting, and more consistent information for setting stakeholder expectations. Limitations exist around the number of licenses issued and also if external consultants or resources are used in projects.
I would recommend this to a colleague only if they plan to use it across the organization and not just within a particular group or two. It is best suited for larger organizations with larger budgets where creative and consistent reporting mechanisms are of greater value to projects and stakeholders.
