Overall Satisfaction with Automox

We've been struggling to have all our devices up to date and Automox, has been an incredible and assertive tool for patch management, schedule routine, integration with our EPP, and remote support for our technical team we've been using it for half a year, and shortly will be used for our customers as a SaaS.

Pros

  • Group Police where we can divide into more or less update routine
  • Support for Windows, Linux and Mac
  • Extremely easy console management
  • Automation and flexibility

Cons

  • Costs for Brazil is quite high due to currency
  • It could have and on premise repository (besides wsus) in case of the company has most of their users working on premises, so we do not have a high number of simultaneous download
  • Reduce operational costs through simplicity for management also can be purchased as MSP
  • Consolidation between visibility, upgrade and remote support saves time
Today, we integrate Sentinel One with Automox, which delivers together XDR protection, patching, and interactive actions. Now, we can guarantee that all Surfaces is protected and updated, but it would be amazing if it could be added Sentinel One as an engine for protection, so it wouldn't be necessary 2 Software for both high protection and Patching.
I give that rating because there is always room for improvement, Automox has the simplicity of an incredibly easy console for management, deploy process, and actions, but if you had a tool that could scan the network and verify components that are working on the network but are not managed by Automox would be nice, not a must have.

It is incredible for companies that have their employee working from home, as well as team that has a low number of IT technicians. Companies that doesn't have visibility from possible CVEs correction on their endpoints and wish for a single consolidated tool which can deliver, visibility, update and remote support for their users
