- CertCapture
Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
It is used by our Accounting department. Only 3 users currently use it frequently for customers' resale certificates purpose. However, the information in CertCapture is being used in our ERP system as well, so that our Sales team has the relevant information regarding whether or not the customers are taxable. We also use AvaTax, which takes information from CertCapture as well.
- Robust search function, regardless if it's a customer based search or certificate search.
- Uploading function - can feed the information from our ERP system into CertCapture.
- Reporting seems to be easy.
- Help center and webinars are helpful tools.
- Uploading is a great tool. However, the template seems to be very rigid. We sometimes have to try multiple times to finally get it to work, even with your tech support.
- Customer types are somewhat confusing. Especially after we started using AvaTax, we realized certain types are not really valid in AvaTax, i.e. Exporters.
- Help us be more tax compliant.
