Overall Satisfaction with Avanan

In a business such as ours that relies on email, this product cuts down on the noise a great deal, allowing us to focus more on business company-wide. Avanan mitigates at least 95% of all spam and phishing emails that threaten our business in real-time. Their DLP functionality warns us if any PII or PCI makes it way outbound and stops that email at the gate and allows us to deny a possible breach of sensitive data.

We selected Avanan based on compelling evidence and performance. The product simply stands up and does so higher than Mimecast, Barracuda, and other such products with a very reasonable price point. It's the most effective weapon against spammers and phishing that we have used to date. Avanan has a human factor that other products do not.
It is fairly intuitive to use, integration was well supported and they are responsive and communicative when it matters. The system is swift to pass-through data, so we see very little to no degradation of email delivery speeds. The management of questionable emails or DLP is easily decided by end-users, almost in real-time or by IT management depending on your easily customizable setup.
Support is extremely responsive and they seem very focused on pleasing their customers. They are also extremely keen to implement customer suggestions for product improvement and feature requests. Customer support is adopted from the top down and upper management will engage in issues that are not resolved with immediate results. They are clearly motivated to provide a superior customer service experience.

Avanan seems to be appropriate for any size organization. Inline processing is swift and effective. This product put control in both the user and IT staff, depending on your needs. I can't imagine a scenario where it's not appropriate. It's well suited to all industries and organizations and does it better than most other products.
