Awario is a great tool to help stay on top of your brand's online reputation
Overall Satisfaction with Awario
I use Awario to keep track of mentions of my brand across social media, which allows me to get ahead of negative feedback or comments and follow up to ensure potential and existing customers' and clients' voices are heard and all concerns are addressed promptly - which can really help when it comes to acquiring new customers. Awario is also very handy for keeping track of mentions of competitors, which can provide valuable insights into what people like and dislike about their products and services at any given time.
Pros
- Monitor brand mentions & keywords across a number of platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and blogs/websites).
- Advanced filtering by date range, country, negative keywords, domains, and more.
Cons
- Can be a bit expensive if you need to monitor a lot of topics/keywords.
- There's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to correctly setting up monitoring and filters to get the most relevant results.
- I've been able to find a handful of negative mentions about my brand that wound up being a misunderstanding - by responding to these complaints I was able to clear up misunderstandings, which helped retain customers and bring on new ones - it's hard to calculate exact ROI, but it's definitely been in the positive.
BuzzBundle is offered by the same company as Awario, and I used it before switching to Awario. It's a very solid desktop tool and allows for more monitoring than Awario (at least when comparing by price). However, Awario is web-based, which means you can utilize it from your phone or tablet, which is handy--especially if you're on the go a lot (may not be as important if you have a team of people who are in front of desktops and laptops all day). Awario also has more powerful lead generation and alerting features than BuzzBundle, but BB is a solid alternative if you're looking to save some money.
