Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use BambooHR to track all of our benefits and process payroll for 8 different companies. This software has improved our payroll process tremendously, we also use the software for time tracking and it allows employees to know at all times what their time off balances are without any confusion.

Usability

Our employees have found the software to be very easy to navigate which has been helpful because that allows our team to spend more time on other important tasks and projects. It has been an asset to our company and streamlined our payroll and time tracking process.

Support Rating

Support has been adequate; I haven't had bad experiences with support but sometimes it can be time consuming and there will be a decent bit of back and forth to get the help we are looking for. The support during implementation was very lacking and could be improved for future customers.

BambooHR Reporting

The reports in Bamboo have made our accrual process each month more efficient and allow our team to retrieve information quickly and accurately. The report builder is fine, most of the time it works well but sometimes it is not able to provide us with the information we are looking for.

Alternatives Considered

QuickBooks Time

Bamboo is FAR better than QuickBooks Time. We are able to pull accurate information from the software, whereas with QuickBooks Time the information could rarely be trusted, and we would manually have to track time available for each employee which was a pain.

It is well suited for our human resource department and has provided transparency for payroll between them and the accounting department. We used to use Quickbooks for our entire process and BambooHR has been a great improvement. The implementation process was disappointing though, the customer service was not very helpful and we had to do most everything ourselves. That was in July 2022.
