Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®

We have used BambooHR for several years. We use it for routine HR documentation, payroll, performance reviews and trackin eryarding and offboarding. It is a critical tool for our multidisiplinary medical practice. We have over 300 employees and it would be impossible to do my job without BambooHR. The customer service is very responsive and helpful. The software is intuitive and easy to use. I can screen applicants and create job offers that can be signed online. I can run background checks and verify employment eligibility (I-9) electronically. This is a huge time saver. This is the best HR software we have ever utilized. I can honestly strongly recommend BambooHR to businesses of all sizes.

Cons

  • Sometimes things don't work exactly as you would expect. There are a few bugs that are usually minor.
  • Rehiring a prior employee is quite difficult with BambooHR. You cannot create a rehire offer if there email has already been in the system. This is the main drawback to the software.
  • I wish the paystubs were a little easier for employees to understand. You have to download the pdf for the full picture.

simple and easy to find most things. It does need to have better organization and file management capabilities. The form builder could use some modernization.
The customer service is fast, usually responding within 24 hours or less. They help solve issues and actually will "fix" things if requested. They send reference material about the need for future reference.
It allows me to do the work of 4 or 5 people. It has automated many processes and is a true time saver. While it may seem expensive, it is well worth the cost.

It is a huge time saver with hiring, onboarding and offboarding tasks. It is a great tracker for positive and negative events. It allows electronic signing of documents which greatly reduces my time requirements. It integrates with clicktime to seamlessly process payroll. It is great for performance reviews and employee self assessments. There are many great things. As said, the major issue is having to jump through hoops when rehiring someone. They make it very difficult.
