Overall Satisfaction with BetterWorks
We use BetterWorks to keep track of our Objectives and Key Results. The platform allows linking our Objectives with those of the rest of our team, and with the rest of the company. I also use BetterWorks to assess my key results and their progress. It is part of our company strategy.
Pros
- Plan and set quarterly objectives and key results.
- Follow up progress on key results.
- Link objectives within the organization.
Cons
- The UX could be updated.
- I sometimes get confused with color assessments and progress tracking.
- Some functionalities are locked according to the type of user.
- Would like to have an option to track specific to-do's.
- Linking objectives
- Progress tracking
- Status tracking
- It has allowed us to align priorities.
- Simplifies the annual employee assessment.
- Gives visibility to the entire operation.
- Asana and Todoist: To-Do List & Task Manager
BetterWorks is great at implementing the Objectives and Key Results framework, and it also provides a framework for employee feedback and performance reviews. However, BetterWorks' capabilities to follow up on specific tasks or activities are limited, and you would need to complement these features with another app or platform. Nevertheless, I think in many ways is best to keep these kinds of functionalities isolated.
