Overall Satisfaction with Bigin by Zoho CRM

As a non-profit organisation, we have struggled to find a CRM system that can be customised for our specific needs. There are tons of funding opportunities and calls for proposals listed in many places, posts and subscription platforms and it becomes difficult to keep track opportunities with go/no go decisions, proposals submitted, funding timelines and successful / unsuccessful bids.

Pros

  • Customisation for our needs / Using the words we want to use
  • Allowing easy movement of opportunities along the pipeline

Cons

  • We've struggled a bit with finding which package is the most appropriate, specifically being a non-profit where pricing is crucial. Thankfully the local office has made contact with us
  • We have not used the system long enough to be able to give a hard impact number, but just looking at time saved, it has had a very positive impact on my productivity as an executive trustee of the organisation
This is a new system for us, and already it is proving to be a useful tool amongst the management team for analysing and discussion cashflows and proposals. Our Finance Manager is able to look at the pipeline and determine what proposals are submitted, the value, and the potential grant date if we are successful

Definately suited for the non-profit space, especially for small and medium NGO's who do not have large budgets but need a reliable CRM system. I would imagine for a large non-profit with adequate budgets, a larger CRM system would be more suitable. For us, this is just what we need.
