Overall Satisfaction with BigTime Software

We use BigTime as our timekeeping/expensing and invoicing application. A great aspect is that we use QuickBooks as our bookkeeping application, BigTime is compatible and able to automatically sync with QuickBooks throughout the day to ensure that both systems reflect the same information.
  • Easy input of time and expenses, into either their website or mobile app
  • Various invoice templates available
  • Bulk processing of invoices for efficiency
  • Currently there is no way to sort invoices in the approval screen by Team Lead, which means all of the Team Leads see everyone's invoices, not just their own
  • Customizing your own report is not straightforward, and we usually end up reaching out to customer service for assistance
  • Sync with QuickBooks
  • Ease of use for employees entering their time/expenses
  • Bulk processing of client invoices
  • Since switching from invoicing in QuickBooks to invoicing in BigTime, we have been able to get our clients their invoices sooner than before by a few weeks

Yes

BigTime works well for companies that bill their clients by the hour, and that have multiple hourly rates depending on what task is being performed. It allows each employee to input their own time and expenses, and also allows their supervisors to review the input time/expenses before invoicing the client. The flexibility to input time/expenses on your desktop, laptop, or phone is a good feature. The customer service response can be slow at times, although recently they have had quicker response times, so I believe they are striving to improve that aspect.
