Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

We use Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT to house the accounting processes for a non-profit. It integrates with Raiser's Edge, eliminating duplicate entry into two separate systems. This change has reduced the use of redundant spreadsheets and has saved staff a significant amount of time. The opportunity to provide reports directly out of Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT has been very helpful.

Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT has helped with transparency of financial transactions for the leadership group. It's eliminated a shadow system and reduced inefficiencies caused by duplicate posting of financial transactions between systems. The leadership group has been very pleased with the reporting options provided by Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT. In addition, we've been able to provide timely reports to donors and granting agencies, directly from Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.

We haven't utilized the dashboards yet, but the leadership team has expressed interest. Once we've mastered the reporting options available, including scheduled reports, the set up and use of dashboards is next on the list. Staff attended the Blackbaud conference a couple of years ago & learned about the dashboards, which look to be very good at providing summarized financial performance information.
