Pros and Cons

Pros

Easy to Navigate.
Gives notifications on log-in.
Classes and relevant information is seen on log-in.

Cons

Grade, posts, and other notifications do not automatically deactivate when clicked. The notification stays there. It takes several clicks to clear. Suggestion would be to make it a one-click deactivation for notifications.
Some notifications at log-in can not be dismissed. Please allow all notifications to be dismissed by users.

Return on Investment

Increased employee efficiency by easy navigation.
Increased user communication.

Blackboard provides everything that is needed to be a successful user. This includes the admin side where you just upload a document, create courses, and add content. There is no huge mess that is left. The learning curve is small, but well worth it. I was able to learn the system within days. It's a very effective and efficient program.

There is no lag from the system and the customer service team is extremely helpful.
