Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

BlackLine is being used for our recon process. It has dramatically changed our process by helping to save time and resources while also helping to save on other resources such as paper. It is currently being used by the accounting department, with plans implement across all of the finance and IT departments.
  • Matching rules are great.
  • Reconiliation process.
  • Account management.
  • Not great with Oracle.
  • Needs more robust timing functionalities.
  • Positive ROI.
  • Streamlined processes.
I have not used or evaluated any other products.
Sometimes it takes a lot of calls to get through to support which is the biggest let down of BlackLine.

Would you buy BlackLine again?

Yes

Blackline is well suited withing the reconciliation processes and the pass rules are great and efficient and consistent. The ability for auditors to find the information they are looking for is great as well and saves time across the company from them not having to ask basic questions. However, it needs to work better with Oracle.
