Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently are using BlackLine for our Transaction Matching, Account Reconciliation, Task, and Reporting needs. The tool has helped us to eliminate a number of manual tasks that were inconsistent in their delivery, as well as it helped to eliminate non value added tasks from process' allowing for us to get back time in our day to use to help create value.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Account Reconciliation Templates, really help to create consistency in the reconciliation process.
Transaction Matching has eliminated the need for cumbersome spreadsheets.

Cons

Some of the UI could use improvement not always the most user friendly experience.

Usability

Thanks to the excellent BlackLine U that is provided with BlackLine, getting started and using is very straightforward and easy. The amount of resources is great to help those unfamiliar with it to pick up specific tasks and start completing them within the different modules.

Support Rating

BlackLine community is very helpful when coming to resolving issues. BlackLine offers great support to their many features.

Likelihood to Recommend

BlackLine is very well suited to handle large transaction volumes within it's transaction matching volume. It is also easily scalable to the users' needs and preferences.
