Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
I use BlackLine for Recons. I will be starting to use the FRA and Matching modules soon. My main concern is that all of my data begins in a legacy FileMaker system.
Pros
- Makes it easy to reconcile
- Makes it easy to tell auditors just go look in BlackLine
- Soon with FRA I will not have as many errors and version issues with BS and IS
- Everyone is so nice and helpful at BlackLine
Cons
- Make the clicks to certify closer together so that you don't have to scroll down as much
- Develop the possibility to have 3 sets of books
- I can't think of a third!! :-)
- It is so helpful to direct auditors to recons that have everything they need!
- I am so excited about getting FRA
It will shorten my month end close by 3 days once I implement the FRA
I am not aware of any other products like BlackLine.
