Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

We use it for Task Management, Reconciliation, and Matching. Task Management used as a checklist for subledgers and for leadership visibility.

  • We haven't really saw a ROI at this point since we are not fully implemented.
We receive a 24-48 hr. turnaround time for customer support. I think that is good. We haven't really encountered any urgent issues that would require a quicker response time so I won't know for sure.
It is yet to be decided. We'll know more once we're fully implemented.

We have been an active BlackLine user for two years and we are still in the implementation stage while other customer experience suggests that the timeline is too long. My team started with the FRA module first prior to initiating Tasks Management. I think that it would have been beneficial to start with Task Management first to ensure that there's data in the system for reporting. It would have been beneficial if our Implementation Specialists mentioned that from the start so we didn't have to waste our time.
