Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our development and finance teams use Bloomerang to manage all donor relationships and track all donation and pledge transactions. We used to have our whole staff on the platform, but decided to limit it to just those two departments. It does the job of keeping our relationships and donations organized, while being very user-friendly.

Pros and Cons

Donor profile - it's very simple to see who's very engaged and who's not.
Online donations - hosted giving pages make donations easy to manage from within Bloomerang.
Robust reporting - I've never found a reporting engine with more granularity. it's really amazing.

User permissions - currently only two levels of permission for users, and both levels grant access to all donor profiles. Unhelpful if you want to give staff members limited access to a certain report or certain band of donors.
