Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
We use bluejeans across our entire organization. We love the tech support we receive and all the bells and whistles we get with the Dolby system. Bluejeans has done a great job improving on their yearly benchmark and having meetings has never been any easier then what they have put together.
Command center has been amazing at helping me track issues on a global scale. I love the new relay/rooms interface and because we have rolled out the New Bluejeans Dolby rooms, AV integrations have been easy and pleasant. I hope to see them improve by adding functionality with relay to the Bluejeans Rooms model and better room moderating controls from command center, similar to the DCC dolby has provided. I would like to see full control of the rooms in the future. (camera controls, launching meetings, recording from the touch interface. AND most of all support for Bluejeans Primetime/events. This is a big one for us because we have functionality lost between now and our previous integration.
Easy to use and setup. Love the user interface, keeps our internal team focused, engaged and collaborating at all times. great for our product org, who relies heavily on collaboration for huge projects and strict deadlines. Our sales team uses this for customer meetings.
easy to use. Wish that we could play videos on our current rollout of version 2.9 but i know thats coming soon. I also want to say that Tedd Fox is a big reason why Bluejeans continues to exceed in our company/org. He has dedicated his time and effort to really making sure our experience is improved
We use the Bluejeans integration with google calendar on a company-wide basis, and enjoy the ease of use and versatility the plugin provides. The current integration with outlook is a big plus and also helps broaden Bluejeans reach to more of our users. I look forward to next iteration and hope to see how they improve the platform
Saving money on the commute. The ability to take meetings anywhere. Join on my phone, conference room or even be inside of a Starbucks. Bluejeans has helped me through big events and their tech support is amazing. They have continually shown love for our Org and the ability to influence their product development.
BlueJeans Feature Ratings
1500 - Sales, Product, Marketing. We use bluejeans intensively for collaboration, customer calls with clients to land deals and We also use promote New Relic with Marketing. We also use bluejeans for our big company events. all hands, offsite events etc. We have also used bluejeans screen sharing functionality and new whiteboarding to help bring New Relic to the next level.
5 - A deep understanding for how software and how videoconferencing works. Knowledge in networking and different room configurations. Whether its lifesize or Polycom codecs. Mac mini provisioning. Or Using and installing the new bluejeans rooms hardware. I come from a deep audiovisual background where we use crestron for control and having that knowledge has really helped me leverage to the next level
- Crestron for control
- cross-functional team sync ups
- broadcasting from major events using blackmagic software and hardware
- hopefully to be able to play videos
- a complete alternative to ring central
- SIP dialing
Bluejeans has been actively keeping up with their promises to innovate and improve their platform. The new hardware they have released with Dolby has been an exceptional replacement for our previous model. Very easy to use, configure and setup. Cost is in the sweet spot for our company and something we are actively pushing globally as our platform for our meeting rooms
Evaluating BlueJeans and Competitors
Yes - lifesize point to point video conferencing. We replaced it because this was a flawed system, did not have the one-touch dial, command center insights and calendar integration we've grown to love. Lifesize point to point also had a higher failure rate compared to bluejeans and would always drop in and out of meetings.

Our users. In our organization, our users come first and we value their opinion. So when we left Lifesize for Bluejeans, we were thrilled to know productivity and collaboration has skyrocketed, and overall usability has made a leap. Thanks to bluejeans we have a ton more features and alot more positive reviews
I would evaluate based on what we are now getting, 1:1 feature wise with what bluejeans has been able to offer us. It goes a long way to have a great customer experience rep and a sales division thats not entirely hungry and after your money. They genuinely care about my feedback and providing us with the support we need.
