Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans Events

Being used across the organization for town hall events both within the organization and for patient communications.

Pros

  • Connection is great, minimal technical issues during presentations.
  • Moderation of events is easy to learn and execute.
  • Ability to control attendee actions, can remove people from event if needed.
  • Q&A feature functions well and is useful for communication.
  • Recording function is easy to use.

Cons

  • Wish there were more options for the format that presenters can be viewed in.
  • Clearer options for how to share screen when presenting, maybe word labels instead of pictures/icons to click on.
  • Attendees have had trouble accessing BlueJeans on certain web browsers, capabilities to function better on all web browsers would be helpful.
  • Increased virtual event participation and attendance.
  • Ability to provide recordings of events to consumers who cannot attend in person.
Pages on this application load quickly, I have come across minimal technical difficulties while using this application. Reports of attendance and registration are delivered in a very reasonable timeframe. Recording functionality works well and does not slow anything down. The recordings are available basically immediately after the event.
BlueJeans events is much better for a larger audience. I have used BlueJeans Meetings for meetings, classes, etc., but events is better when participants do not need to be seen or heard.

Well suited for larger events where there will be more attendees, or for events where the attendees do not need to be seen or heard. If attendees need to be seen or heard, this application would not be appropriate as attendees can only communicate using the Q&A or chat. Otherwise, for presentations to large groups, this application has great functionality and is easy to use.
