Overall Satisfaction with Bonterra EveryAction

We are using Bonterra EveryAction to reach out to members of our organization. It allows us to monitor and manage our relationship with casual members as well as dedicated volunteers. The ability to create and update online forms, craft and send email and integrate with other platforms makes it an essential tool for our organization.

Pros

  • Creating online forms
  • Mass email updates (i.e. newsletters)
  • Volunteer management

Cons

  • Some of the integrations are a bit clunky (transition to mass email, for example)
  • Administration is tricky
  • Creating and modifying list filters requires a steep learning curve
  • Bonterra EveryAction has made it easy and effective to send newsletters
  • Bonterra EveryAction has made volunteer participation easier to track
Implementing Bonterra EveryAction was easy. The team helped us import our existing list and once the list was in, they helped us integrate with Mobilize so that we could easily see event participation. Creating newsletters and segmenting them is also easy, thanks to the tagging tools provided in Bonterra EveryAction. We are also able to track subscriptions through Bonterra EveryAction.
So far, we have not encountered any issues with availability of Bonterra EveryAction.
Bonterra EveryAction has made it much easier to track and manage the influx of new members this year. We have had a surge of interest and without Bonterra EveryAction it would be easy to lose track of new members and their specific interestes.
I have experience with both Mailchimp and Salesforce. Bonterra EveryAction provides a much simpler and more cost effective alternative to both of these platforms. The integration with NGP and Mobilize is a key feature for our organization. Without these integrations, we would be stuck doing quite a bit of manual work to update the various platforms.

Bonterra EveryAction is a great tool that integrates with Mobilize and NGP tools. It may seem heavy for small groups, but we have found it to be generally easy to use.
