Great for storage, sharing—but can get pricey

Overall Satisfaction with Box

Box is used in some capacity by all employees. Some departments, such as Customer Service, use Box daily. Other departments (including my own in Marketing) only use Box every week or so.

Pros

  • Lots of storage.
  • Ability to share easily.
  • Easy user interface.

Cons

  • I’d like to see more pricing structures offered.
  • Storage.
  • Sharing files.
  • Increased amount spent on storage.
  • Increased efficiency.
I like using Box much better than Dropbox although I have not used Dropbox in ten or so years, so their performance and [user] interface may have improved. Box is more user friendly and easy to navigate. When I was using Dropbox, I disliked that it did not sync well or quickly, although that may be better now.

Yes

Box is very easy to use when it comes to uploading and sharing files. I’ve uploaded a number of different file types (PDF, JPG, INDD, RTF, MP3) with no issue. You can share just one file at a time, or you can share larger folders with an audience. We also change the settings sometimes so that certain audiences can view but not download the contents.
