BQE Core

Overall Satisfaction with BQE Core

We use BQE Core for time and expense tracking for all of our projects. It has been a helpful tool in monitoring metrics and obtaining more information on utilization to improve company efficiency.

Pros

  • Time tracking
  • Expense tracking

Cons

  • Filters for isolating specific employees or project hours can sometimes be confusing and don't always work correctly.
  • BQE Core has allowed us to really hone in on projects that may or may not be profitable which allows us to pivot moving forward.
  • The time tracking software allows us to recognize employees' strengths and weaknesses.
  • QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets)
BQE Core appears to have a much more substantial feature set than TSheets which can provide more useful information.

AutoCAD, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams
BQE Core is intuitive and easy to use.
I have not had to use support for BQE Core at this time.
BQE Core is very well suited for an MEP firm to provide precise metrics and time tracking. We are likely only scratching the surface of the available features within the program, but it has been an asset for our firm.
