10/10 would use again!
I use BQE Core to log time which we bill to clients, and log expenses, get vacation approved, log sick time. Arcchitecture is all about billing to clients, so I like how easy it is to choose from the dropdown menus who to bill, and what category to file it under.
- Intuitive, easy, simple graphics not too overwhelming.
- I love that it saves right after you type something in.
- Offers lots of different features that are easy to use.
- I don't like how every time you refresh something, that line jumps to a different place on the screen.
- Not that much too improve, I'm pretty happy.

BQE Core is right for us!
BQE Core timekeeping platform helps us address past problems of being able to accurately account for earned revenue with no extra administrative cost. Being able to invoice out of our timekeeping platform has helped us address a lot of past issues and keep our aged A/R low. BQE Core's direct connect API into PowerBI is a game-changer as well. We can create customized dashboards that are key to our business operation and can provide live intel to our leadership. BQE customer service support is excellent as well, anytime we have a need or an issue, BQE is quick to address the problem.

BQE Core is the core of our business
We use BQE Core for project management, allocation, budgets, invoicing,
receivables, vendor bills, and time management. BQE Core supports our entire operation and provides all of our accounting and business management data. Our entire staff uses the product to manage and account for their time, to manage and collaborate on projects, and as a support to our daily decision-making processes.
- Project management structure integrates exactly with our business process.
- Management of the end-to-end billing cycle and integration with our accounting package is very good. The ability to flex the way we present our invoices fits really well with the way we conduct our business.
- The different ways that employees can enter their time in the Time Card view or directly as a Time Entry really match the way we work and saves a lot of time and mistakes in managing the time tracking process.
- The allocation could be better, with functionality such as dependencies between project phases and being able to view multiple projects rolled up or by phase in the Gantt chart, and also a better link between allocation and budgets.
- Performance can sometimes be very slow, especially when searching or filtering.
- The ability to customize your own reports is really lacking. For example, the layout of the standard reports such as invoices is very limited and not very attractive. It is also fairly expensive to have a custom report created. We have had to get invoices, statements, and allocation data export custom reports created which I was not expecting to have to do.

What a Software
We use BQE Core for our time cards, client data information, expense entries, [and] budgeting. This product assists in our budget management, how we are performing by tasks and time, client information, and uploading important files related to a job or client.

BQE CORE, what an architect needs but doesn't desire
We're a small firm that varies in size and BQE CORE allows the flexibility to expand and contract and provide our staff the tools to manage their workflow, work within budgeted fees and time allocation, and track milestones and progress of project delivery. While many simply clock in, they don't monitor their progress and CORE provides a daily snapshot of time management and meeting project schedules, while I was the principal of design can do more of that…design! We came over from ArchiOffice to CORE and while we lost a bit in prepopulating transmittal, memo, and other related templates with project information for a client, consultant, and contractor coordination, it has been somewhat balanced out by no longer maintaining the server and software with the CORE being a cloud-based platform and providing a very useful mobile app.

- Provides up to the minute fee and budget tracking.
- Almost infinitely customizable with a dashboard to bring it all into a single digestible view for a holistic oversight.
- Historical project data has been invaluable for preparing fee proposals and performance for future projects.
- Simplification of structure and features (customization); sometimes it's too much of a good thing.
- The mobile app could be more closely aligned with the web platform (not all items, features are available, and not as easy to navigate and view data).
- Dashboard widgets could be more interactive. Ex: Aged Receivables should allow bringing up a summary window of past-due project billings and invoices as opposed to simply showing days aged that it already shows on the side and with matching color.

BQE Core for Engineering Firms--RECOMMEND!
We use BQE Core for Project Management, Time & Expense tracking, Accounting and Billing, Human Resources and as a CRM Platform. Being able to input information into one platform for use across many different modules saves time and energy on our administrative staff. All of the data is tracked and displayed in efficient widgets and customizable dashboards. The customized reports are very helpful as well. You can drill down all or only what you want to see. Customer service is responsive and able to sort out issues quickly.
- Ease of Use: the layout of each page makes sense and flow is easy to follow
- online: It's great that it can be accessed from any browser, and does not require a software download. Even with this accessibility it remains secure.
- Education: the webinars, videos and community posts are very helpful when onboarding or troubleshooting.
- cost: having to pay for each module for each user is expensive. Would be easier to have different license tiers that group modules.
- development can be slow: fix releases are not as often, feature requests are the only way current users can influence what goes into the new builds.
- additional filters: would be great to have more filters to drill down reports.

We use BQE Core to give us more visibility into our projects, as well as time tracking, invoicing, and we are about to add accounting.

Core is great!
We use it for client billing as well as tracking project billing, for employee hours, for time off, and for most things in between. This addresses issues with clients who may not agree with certain hours billed, and having a direct way to show what exactly was worked on is very helpful.

BQE Core
I use BQE Core to insert the time I work on each project. This helps our business to track the time for each project and produce accurate invoices that we send to our clients. This brings clarity to our business on how time is spent and to our client to somehow double check the invoice.

BQE Core takes the "chore" out of Accounts Payable
I utilize BQE Core for many Accounts Payable functions. Its streamlined program makes my job so much easier. I've worked with several accounting software over my career. BQE Core is one of my favorites. It's very easy to use, and will make things so much easier. Looking forward to more upgrades and additional modules.

Great program, easy to use!
We use this program daily and it is very easy and efficient to use! BQE Core is used for environmental consulting and it is very useful to keep track of hours billed and overhead hours. It allows us to keep everything organized and able to be easily tracked for each employee.

We use it to track billable and overhead hours. This is how we track both what we will bill to a client and then in turn, what it is that each of us on the engineering team will be paid (project to project, and specifically in comparison to how many hours we have billed to a client versus to the overhead of the company).

BQE Core review
We use BQE Core for assigning our work hours to different client projects depending on day-to-day tasks performed. It is very easy to use and is well organized. The entries can be sorted to quickly check the allotted, used, and remaining project hours. Even though the hours allocated to other users of the project are not visible, the updated remaining project hours help keep the project on track. The main rationale behind choosing this product is its ease of accounting of complex project fund distribution across the users.

- Time Entries and Time Card sections help check if the weekly/monthly allotted project hours have been accounted for with easy checks
- BQE also summarizes the time performances into different categories of work whether 'Billable', 'Non-Billable', 'PTO', and other categories based on user inputs to keep accurate track of office hours.
- Some kind of notification can be added to let the user know if a project fund is nearing completion.

BQE Core Saves My Company Lots of Time!
We switched to BQE Core in my company from an older billing software product that we had used for 15 years. We only use the time/expense entry and invoicing features at my company. We do not use the accounting or HR features at this time. BQE Core is significantly faster in its capabilities to enter/edit time, create invoices, record payments, and run reports. The time we saved by switching to BQE Core is invaluable.

- Easy to adjust settings.
- Could use more filtering options.
- Sometimes there are lag issues when entering data in a search field.
- The applying payments function needs a better capability to reverse/undo misapplied payments.

BQE CORE - good other than a few items
BQE CORE is not the easiest to use. It is difficult locating different projects in our database, along with adding them. However, other than that it is pretty good at tracking your time off, and going between the projects.

Excellent software, but only if you want to make your life easier!
I use BQE Core for everything from daily time and expense keeping, to reviewing my employee's timesheets. I also use the software to track our costs and project burn in comparison to our project contracts. It allows me to easily reallocate time where needed. BQE Core makes invoicing a breeze. We generate time and expense reports, review them and generate draft invoices. It's easy to work back and forth with accounting to adjust invoices as needed before generating a final invoice to send to the client. We also use it to track and monitor account statements and know when we have a client with too many outstanding invoices.
- The performance tab is great. Easily see an overall project snapshot in seconds.
- Time and expense reviewer is great. It's easy to manage entries and move to different phases when needed.
- Our invoice process is so much simpler and quicker now that we have BQE Core.

Great Change
Going to BQE Core was a great change for our firm. We have found that keeping our worked hours and expenses has been much easier for staff, and project management has improved. It still seems that we keep finding great new features. Worth the change.

Great Service
I use BQE Core to fill out my timesheets and I love the user interface. This is very easy to use, all of my vacation time is shown and as a user, I am very happy with it. The display shows my PTO hours remaining as well as saves the jobs from the previous week to avoid having to re-enter them all.

Great software!
I use BQE Core every day to track my hours, submit invoices, and plan my time off. I really like how simple it is to use it and the intuitive interface! The customer service is great and the online guide helped me a lot with the questions I had! Definitely recommended!

BQE Core Review
We use BQE Core for billing management. The time card feature allows for a quick and easy breakdown of all projects and roles for time billing. Project time can be easily logged using the time entries feature within the web application, and provides an overview of each weeks assigned hours.

BQE Core is Great for Small Businesses!
We use BQE Core for billing and for my second job I use it to submit invoices for billing as well. I typically log my hours in for projects I work on throughout the week [then] admin sends the clients the bill via BQE Core email. BQE Core [is] a very efficient and useful system.

A solid all-rounder
We are using this software within our company on a daily basis to track time, budget, and numerous other metrics. The reporting feature has proven to be a very valuable tool in keeping track of project budgets on an ongoing [basis]. Using the same software for time tracking and billing has proven to be very efficient.
