Overall Satisfaction with Brandwatch

As a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, I used Brandwatch for my project with Expedia Inc. The target was to recognize customer behavior on various social media platforms before and after using services from Expedia and compare it with competitors. Brandwatch also helped in generating a statistical result that was used to devise future strategies.

  • Some results are fuzzy
  • Most sentiments are considered neutral. There should be a clear distinction between positive and negative
  • Integration with other social media especially picture oriented like Instagram
  • Better statistics provided a direction for further research
  • Saved time by generating quick results

I selected Brandwatch because of positive reviews. Haven't used other software.
Brandwatch is a simple tool that is easy to learn and understand. Without any rigorous training, the team can learn to use it and interpret the results in an efficient manner. It saves a lot of work and helps the team to focus on other important time consuming tasks. I would like to continue using Brandwatch.
Most suitable to generate statistical information and comparisons. I like how it generates relative results for query. However, I found results fuzzy sometimes.
