Overall Satisfaction with Brandwatch
As a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, I used Brandwatch for my project with Expedia Inc. The target was to recognize customer behavior on various social media platforms before and after using services from Expedia and compare it with competitors. Brandwatch also helped in generating a statistical result that was used to devise future strategies.
Pros
- Twitter Integration
- Statistical Summary and sentiments
- Removal of certain keywords from search queries
Cons
- Some results are fuzzy
- Most sentiments are considered neutral. There should be a clear distinction between positive and negative
- Integration with other social media especially picture oriented like Instagram
- Better statistics provided a direction for further research
- Saved time by generating quick results
- Easy to use
I selected Brandwatch because of positive reviews. Haven't used other software.
