Overall Satisfaction with BrightHR

We have only recently purchased this system and introduced it to our staff. Its very much early days for us and we are learning all the time about functionality and how best to use it with our employees. We hope it will make communication with employees easier and give transparency

Pros

  • logging and tracking holidays
  • communication with individuals
  • Hazardous substances database

Cons

  • The Brightsafe could take more cues from the Business Safe system, i find the functionality is not as in depth and i have to use both systems
  • The APP is not compatible with all phones, i have an older iphone that isn't compatible with the software version this app needs therefore i cannot use it
It can be difficult to navigate and although there are tutorials most people don't have the time or inclination to use these. Generally employees want to be able to find there way by exploring and need to find what they are looking for quickly

Very good for requesting and booking holidays. Easy to track where you are with time off. Could be better at giving visibility for all holidays booked so you can easily track colleagues.
Limited functionality in the BrightSafe module. As i have said before i think more cues should be taken from Business safe to make this application more in depth.
