Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

A wide range of HR needs and benchmarking needs.

We search against a wide range of categories, utilise templates and look at what the latest best practise is.

Although we typically know the answer, having this as a back up is highly effective.

For anything we don't know or are unsure of, it's a great resource.

Pros

  • Benchmarking
  • legislation
  • wording

Cons

  • International is too expensive
  • Wider areas aren't always available such as information on the HR impacts of PCI DSS
  • Search criteria can sometimes throw up some odd links
  • Saved cost
  • Saved legal checks
  • Saved opportunity cost
It is our go to tool.

We trust the information.

We know it is always a great starting point.

It is well explained and contextualised. It is straightforward to utilise and edit/adjust from.

It is clear what has changed, is changing.

It can help with compliance but sometimes helps with regulation too.
This is limited.

Businesses in our opinion need leaders, managers and followers to make that happen.

With Brightmine mostly being a library it has limited impact in that space.

It effectively automates the research and the clarity part, but adds nothing to the value add strategic focus.
  • Citation Health, Safety and HR & Employment Law Consulting
You get what you pay for.

Other companies tie you in for ridiculous contracts, make it difficult to leave and sell you insurance that doesn't pay put.

Sometimes you just want a clear set of information to review, utilise and to add in to your portfolio.

Some companies claim to be employment lawyers when they clearly aren't.

Do you think Brightmine delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Brightmine's feature set?

Yes

Did Brightmine live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Brightmine go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Brightmine again?

Yes

We use it for best practice wording. We know it will be in plain English.

We like the templates, the associated links, the wide range of policies and tools that cover all angles.

It focuses on breadth more than depth and gives an impression that 100 policies are better than 10.
