Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Brightmine for state-specific compliance requirements. It's especially helpful in creating and maintaining our employee handbooks and state supplements to the handbooks. We get regular notifications for legal updates, charts with information on specific laws and requirements by state, etc. I've been very happy with Brightmine overall, and it's made compliance much easier for a small company that does business in 13 states.

I'm a solo HR employee for our organization. Brightmine sends me tons of time in research about what has changed in the 13 states in which we do business as a small company.

Customer Support

I've had very little interaction with the customer success team. I will say in the beginning we had a very difficult time getting in touch with a customer service rep, which was frustrating. Once we did make contact the customer service rep was helpful in resolving the issues our company had.

Brightmine is great for updating handbooks. We're a small company who does business in 13 different states, and sometimes compliance is difficult to keep up with. When legal changes are made in states regarding time off, work breaks, minimum wage, etc. Brightmine will send notices that updates have been made. This is particularly helpful for companies that don't have an HR compliance-specific position.
