Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

I use BrowserStack on a daily basis to QA and check logs for the daily test runs. It is very useful for automated and manual testing with the AI feature to add the test cases which is great. You also have the option to choose between multiple devices and browsers occurs different operating systems. This makes it a one-stop solution to test for any bug, which might be specific to the device/os version.

Pros

  • Automated Test runs
  • Live testing
  • Add/export manual test cases

Cons

  • Live testing speed. could be optimized
  • Auto-healing capability
  • The platform is intuitive, with minimal setup required for cross-browser and cross-device testing
  • Variety of mobile devices & os versions
  • AI-Powered Features
  • Convenient live testing interface
  • Good automation run logs
  • Debugging time reduced
To test for bugs and features across multiple devices and screen sizes, we have to use different emulators sandbox, which required much of the physical space on device and was difficult to switch between devices. Automated runs we had to rely on local machine and then to manually organise. It was a lot of work. now it is all at one place with only a one time set up.
  • Live
  • App Live
  • Automate
  • Test Management
Live and app live are the most used features on a daily basis to check for the UI issues on different screen sizes and OS version. We also have set up the automatic sessions and detect any change in hosted pages. The test management suit is very helpful to add manual test cases as well as automation runs.
