Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

We use BrowserStack mainly as our new Testing Management platform. We store test cases and also test plans there. Automation is usually being handled by different tools, but we'd like to use BrowserStack as unified reporting for both, manual and automated testing. We are still in on-boarding phase, so we are not using all features available.

Pros

  • Reports look really professional.
  • Test runs integration.
  • AI capabilities.

Cons

  • Import of test cases from other platform (only limited options).
  • Test runs not allow to update instances of test cases, but always updates all test cases.
  • Test runs integration could be easier.
  • Test reports for management.
  • Test case management.
  • Test plans.
  • It's too early to say. There's not positive / negative impact so far.
The biggest challenge was the selection of the tool itself. We've been deciding among multiple options and the reason why we chose BrowserStack was the AI capabilities in test cases generation. But the process of selection was really long as we used to use a multiple Test Case Management systems in past and each part of organization had different opinion.
  • Test Management
I think I have already described earlier. We have just started using BrowserStack.

Do you think BrowserStack delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with BrowserStack's feature set?

Yes

Did BrowserStack live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of BrowserStack go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy BrowserStack again?

Yes

I have just started with using BrowserStack, so maybe it's too early to give a specific examples. From my experience, it's quite difficult to import test cases from TestFLO and I needed to write my own import tool to handle this situation. I know it might be easier for different source TMC tools.
