There was a noticeable absence of a universal tool capable of evaluating both web and mobile versions of applications. This gap in the market highlighted the need for a comprehensive solution that could seamlessly handle the testing requirements of diverse platforms. Such a tool would not only streamline the testing process but also ensure consistency in the quality of applications across different devices and operating systems. BrowserStack was the solution we needed.

Based on corporate security reasons, localtesting must be disabled. BrowserStack realised this for us with a custom design change, allowing us to use BrowserStack. Localtesting is a great feature to use it.it was difficult to convince the budget holders so we had to write a business plan why we need BrowserStack

We have been setting up our own device lab which was expensive and difficult to maintain. Buying multiple devices always need levels of approvals and its time consuming and expensive. BrowserStack helped to resolved this challenge.

While switching from. One device to other is little difficult and time consuming because it will take more time.
Connection also need to established again if we are choosing new device.
VPN also gets disconnected for the same.

We got no challenges when integrate our "testing tools" with browserstack. Because they provides us with a lot of documentation so we can take a look on it. Other than that, they serves us with quick response team when we had trouble to integrate our "testing tools" with browserstack. Maybe with linked videos in each documentation file will really useful.

Prior to BrowserStack, we were forced to manually test on multiple browsers, machines, and devices by simply having these devices in the office and testing them all individually across a variety of use cases, network conditions, and various other criteria. This application saves you from all of this overhead and allows you to handle this in one place, with no physical devices needed.

Before browserstack we need to maintain VM's with specific configuration as per our test environment, and need o hire separate resource to maintain all those environments and infrastructure, but now it is taken care by Browserstack.
We do bought many hardware for testing purpose before that, but now no need to spend on it.

While I was not at the company prior to them utilizing Browserstack, it would have been difficult to effectively manage distributing and maintaining an extensive library of physical devices, with all of the overhead that entails when dealing with a widespread workforce. Personally speaking, I like to keep as few devices on hand as possible, and Browserstack lets me do that.

We were testing primarily on real world devices which meant our test coverage on compatibility devices was really small, using browser stack has increased this massively

We inherited bunk automation tests and so we're starting from scratch. Plus sometimes our websites need tweaking depending on what browser or mobile device someone is on and we couldn't tell that unless someone had that phone to look at it on.

We were finding it difficult to develope the applications for mobile devices.
The Google Chrome's simulator feature to test on mobile devices did not help much. There is lot of gap in Chrome's Simulator to actual mobile device.
BrowserStack helped in overcoming this problem. Though it is slow, but the option available in the market at present
