Camtasia is used to curate videos of our products within the business.
The product helps for easy capture of screen content, as well as the recording of audio overtop. Camtasia has great editing features that allow for quick and user friendly production of video content.
This is used throughout the business for:

- Easy screen recording overlay
- Great editing tools
- Multiple production formats available
- Quick to adopt and understand how to use
Cons
- Slow and Sluggish to load
- Increased variety of annotations and other editing options
- Process in which projects and clips are stored in a folder can be cumbersome. Takes some getting used to understanding how it saves component clips vs the whole project
- Increased Opportunites
- Enhanced the quality of sales opps
- Increased the adoption time for product learning internally
- Consensus
Personally find that Camtasia has better video editing tools than those available in the above competition. That being said the other software I have used has been mainly focused on other areas; their video editing tool is more of an afterthought and isn't as easy to use as Camtasia.
