Overall Satisfaction with Canto

We use Canto as our DAM system, and it works great for our needs. The cataloging and tagging system is easy, and we appreciate how simple it is to share assets within and outside of our organization. Our vendors are able to upload assets right into our system, which saves us a lot of time and busywork. I'll note that the workflow wouldn't be as straightforward without an in-house Canto expert, so prospective customers should understand that it's not a fully intuitive operation. However, the organizational onboarding process was pretty quick, and users can get in and perform basic tasks with relative ease.
  • Digital asset management
  • Easy asset sharing
  • Asset version control
  • Basic onboarding is simple.
  • Requires at least one team member to be resident expert, i.e. its' not fully intuitive.
  • Load times could be faster.
  • Saves the team busywork time, driving greater productivity
  • Better version and file integrity, leading to less re-work

Do you think Canto delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Canto's feature set?

Yes

Did Canto live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Canto go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Canto again?

Yes

Canto is well suited for organizations with 5+ team members working with digital assets. The folder and version sprawl we were dealing with prior to implementing Canto led to poor file management integrity. Additionally, Canto makes it very easy to share files with vendors both ways (sharing outbound and receiving assets inbound).

Canto Support

Canto is simple and reliable, and we've had a good, solid experience so far.

Using Canto

Easy to use, but requires an in-house expert to train new folks and outside vendors.
