Overall Satisfaction with Carbonite Endpoint

Carbonite Endpoint is being used on 3 specific departments where data protection is essential due to the fact end users work remotely and where other solutions we have in place fail to do what we need.

Pros

  • Always accurate.
  • Clean and intuitive UI.
  • Never missed a restore.

Cons

  • Support.
  • Billing options.
  • Data is safer.
  • ROI is almost immediate after one single machine restore. The time it would cost to recreate or backtrack lost data would be a ten-fold what yearly subscription costs for Carbonite.
Stacks very well against competitors and excels in what it does.
The one flaw of Carbonite is its support. When we've had to reach out in the past, they left a bit to be desired and we didn't really get the answers we were hoping for.

Carbonite Endpoint is not suitable if you are looking for a centralized backup solution or for large environments when you need to manage a large number of users. Carbonite is well suited for small to medium-sized businesses that are looking for a cost-effective, extremely reliable data backup application.
