Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Dayforce is our HR and payroll provider for our entire organization consisting of 2 locations with over 600 employees, some of whom work from home offices. It was an upgrade from the HPW platform.
  • Gives employees better real time access to deduction information, ability to easily initiate changes to address, dependent, banking information.
  • Allows HR and Payroll to interact seamlessly. There's no delay trying to pass data back and forth between 2 different systems.
  • The mobile app gives both managers and employees the ability to manage their time on the go.
  • We do a lot of project work that requires specific tracking of hours by project code and recording that in our general ledger. Dayforce thus far hasn't been very easy to handle this requirement.
  • We use Oracle EBS for our financials and certain HR data points are needed for workflows amongst other things. Creating a data feed between the two systems has been extremely difficult and is still not functional 6 months into the implementation process.
  • Reduced reliance on paper forms as well as streamlining all data into one system versus multiple software packages.
  • Ability to see payroll impact based on HR changes (i.e. benefits and deductions)
  • Easier time away request process and management for both employees and managers.
Dayforce gives greater visibility to the time away balances and makes monitoring easier for both employee and managers.
The single application has probably cut processing and decision making time by a third to one half.
Quicker, more accurate real time information for both employees, managers, HR and Payroll.
If you want to empower your employees to take more control of their schedules and HR data this is the tool for you. Also, the integration of HR and Payroll data together in real time is fantastic.
