Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Ceridian Dayforce through out the company. We use it for all of our HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent. We purchased all modules.
  • It's all one platform.
  • It's configurable to your company needs.
  • The system follows the employee from hire to termination. All HR functions are done in Dayforce. No need to use another system it's all in one.
  • The implementation is very time-consuming. The way the data needs to be given to Ceridian needs to be more user-friendly.
  • Our overall monthly price had decreased using Ceridian Dayforce. We are saving 100K a year with Dayforce and it's a way better product.
Dayforce keeps us compliant with our overtime rules because being in California overtime is very specific and complicated to calculate. The FLSA OT rule has many facets and Dayforce does a great job in these calculations.
The scheduling for my organization has been a great asset. We have 24 hour residential programs and the scheduling was a nightmare. We used Excel spreadsheets. Now we are saving time in creating the schedules and it's more up to date information for the employees since it's real time and all the employee information is readily available.
Using Dayforce gives us the ability to calculate payroll any day of the pay period so see where our overtime is at. Since it's one application there is no need to import hours from time and attendance. It's all available at any point. This is a tremendous help because we can see where punches are missing or a problem on the time sheets. They can be fixed right away and the payroll can be recalculated without having to re-import hours.
The payroll through Dayforce is going to save my company at least one day of processing. Where we came from we had to process 9 payrolls because we have 9 legal entities. Now with Dayforce, I run one payroll.

Using Ceridian Dayforce

1500 - All employees us Dayforce.
6 - HR, Payroll, and Benefits are the main people that support Dayforce.
  • Talent is now recruiting, hiring, and onboarding employees.
  • We have purchased most of the modules. I am hoping on implementing LMS and session planning.
It's a great system and I do not see us changing anytime soon. It's so customizable that there is no need to look for another product.

Evaluating Ceridian Dayforce and Competitors

Yes - Ceridian Dayforce replaced ADP. We switched to Dayforce because its one platform and we could process one payroll instead of 9.
