Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Our company uses Dayforce primarily for Payroll, WFM and Advance Labor Management.
Pros
- Industry leader with a mature product to address the ever changing needs of the workforce
- Reporting module provides advance functions to slice an dice complex data
- Keeps their user base informed on industry trends and alerts while catering to your own industry and particular account needs
Cons
- Conversion from Silverlight to HTML5 has been challenging. Several new features do not seem to have been thoroughly tested before being release to customers. Critical bugs are being reported by the user community that should have been caught and re-mediated prior to public release.
- Customer Support Portal needs greater flexibility for both article search capabilities (article dates would be nice) & Case management interaction.
- Positive - Reduced reliance on paper for sure
- Positive - Streamlined and flexible reporting to expedite routine and ad-hoc data to principals.
- Negative - As we transition features to HTML, users are are taking a hit to productivity & seeing increased processing times in terms of scheduling and Plan/Analytics. Time allocated to perform said tasks have doubled in many cases.
