Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

I use Ceridian Dayforce for WFM, Payroll, Onboarding, Data Analytics, and Doc Mgmt. With the usage and enhancement of Ceridian Dayforce modules, I can automate many currently paper-based processes. We are able to reduce errors by automating the processes. The payroll module has been particularly very helpful in managing payments & taxes. We would be looking to include the Ceridian Dayforce Recruiting module in 2023 to have a one-stop shop for our employees and business processes for better data management and enhance our talent management system.
  • Employee Data Mapping Rules is a very strong and useful feature which automates and protects the employee HR records.
  • Ceridian Dayforce Education has been very helpful in understanding many processes which become sometimes difficult to understand/follow. ILT courses do provide good insights.
  • More ILT classes need to be opened. Sometimes, we need to take a course, and it takes months for the course to be available.
  • Reporting could be made more user-friendly. Providing custom fields examples and better ways to learn would be helpful.
Ceridian Dayforce does help in terms of compliance for our organization. State Tax Withholding is very neat, the precision of updating taxes based on the zipcodes is very helpful, and I was impressed when Ceridian Dayforce was able to inform me when a wrong Zip Code or County was added to the record.

Overtime policies, though complicated, help with automatically giving appropriate hours and entitlements with the help of qualifiers.
Currently, we are using Payroll, WFM, and Onboarding modules in Ceridian Dayforce and plan to enable Recruiting Module in 2023 to have one place for all our records. Ceridian Dayforce does have a lot of room for improvement in other modules like Succession planning, Benefits, Compensation, and Learning. We had the Compensation module, and we ended up not using it and had to drop it. The feature and flexibility are still not present in this module. However, Ceridian Dayforce is very good with the Payroll, Onboarding, and Recruiting module.

As I mentioned earlier, Ceridian Dayforce makes automating processes very helpful such as Employee Data Mapping Rules. Where Cascading rules can be implemented, and anytime a change occurs in the EE HR Record, those rules will be implemented based on the qualifiers.

Ceridian Dayforce reporting could be made more user-friendly. Sometimes, it gets challenging to get the correct data if someone is not very skilled.
