Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Ceridian Dayforce for payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, learning, applicant tracking system, performance reviews, recording timesheet information. We switched to Dayforce because before we were utilizing several different portals and platforms and with Ceridian Dayforce we have everything housed in one location and one login.

  • Benefit enrollments and benefits information is easy to work with in the system
  • Access to reporting
  • Having information in real time in one platform for several modules.
  • Support Community is great resourse
  • Mobile app and functionality matching what is in the URL based platform. Forms, enrollments, etc.
  • Support for some modules is not great
  • Creating reports can be complex and difficult
  • The company overall is saving money because we have one platform instead of 12
  • Our HR staff and managers are saving time as all employee information is in one platform and not having to toggle between 12 different platforms looking at reports to get the information you receive. The information in Dayforce is in real time.
  • The employee experience in Dayforce is more user friendly and easier to navigate from the time someone applies to when they are onboarding to benefits enrollment, to updating their employee information throughout the year.
I appreciate the compliance alerts that we receive and how to properly ensure we are in compliance with the ever changing state and federal laws that are changing that impact our employee population. They always spell out what needs to be done on our end and what Ceridian is doing on behalf of their customers. Also, with the customization for payroll and benefits we can tailor to our multi state employee needs.
This was the main reason we switched from ADP to Ceridian. We went from having 12 different modules/platforms to having one single source of data for our employees and different businesses with Dayforce.
I have more time to dedicate to other projects within our company. I can easily look at payroll, benefits, onboarding documents, learning and pull reporting from all of these modules within minutes. One single source application and one login with access to our employee population and all the modules that HR maintains their data.

I am happy with Ceridian Dayforce overall. It is nice having all of our company and employee information in one place. We went live July 2021 and I would say our biggest issue(s) were the implementation and some of the SME's not being as knowledgeable and helpful in some areas/modules as others so that slowed down the process with some of the modules we were implementing. The support team is much more knowledgeable than the implementation team we found out after go live. Some modules are not as strong as others - say the engagements and learning compared with the payroll and benefits, but there are always releases coming out where Ceridian is making those modules better.
