Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Dayforce was the first HCM system to be implemented in our association, replacing a cumbersome payroll system and many Excel spreadsheets. Key benefits were the self-service aspect, which replaced all the paper forms. We launched right before COVID and would have been unable to manage the furloughs, resignations, re-hires, and new hires without it (not to mention vaccination tracking and COVID pay). Now that we are back to "normal" operations, we are able to start implementing other modules and have recently launched dashboards and recruiting.
  • Easy to implement pay cards to replace paper checks.
  • Geofencing for clocking in and out at remote sites.
  • Great reporting capabilities.
  • Customer service has decreased since COVID.
  • More features on the mobile app, like approvals.
  • Easier interface for reports with payroll and HR data fields.
  • More autonomy to create workflow routing.
  • Less paper.
  • Eliminates payroll creep.
Manage employees in multiple jurisdictions. Automatically calculates overtime and benefits eligibility. Reports are easy to generate.
Easier to rehire summer employees. Managers are able to review payroll mid-week or even daily to keep on track.
Easy for everyone to work together on multiple facets and projects.
