Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM
We use Dayforce across 90% of our enterprise. We use Time & Attendance across the entire 90% and Scheduling & Task Management across 75%. As a specialty retailer in the Musical Instrument category, we sell very specific products to customers with very specific needs. That requires knowledgeable employees to be in the right place at the right time. Dayforce is key to making that happen.
- Intuitive user interface that is easy to use for people with various technical abilities
- Employees can view their time card in real-time on many different devices
- Easily view task progress across devices and with downward visibility throughout the organization
- Dayforce could use more robust reporting within the application, but have recently released a new Business Intelligence tool to fill the need
- Customer Service scores have improved thanks to Dayforce predicting demand coverage throughout all parts of the day and multiple departments of the locations
- Employee Efficiency has improved greatly as there is now a time clock wherever there is a computer/terminal
- Managers save time scheduling by electronically managing employee time off and availability requests
- Compliance is stronger due to Dayforce electronically enforcing labor rules (incl. the recent CA meal break policy)
Dayforce's user interface blew away the competition. When we reached the final stage of our RFP process, we brought in future end-users to demo the products (without vendor intervention). After giving the end-users time to play with different products, 9 out of 10 choose Dayforce and the top reason was ease of use. While other products demonstrated better competencies in other areas such as analysis/reporting, the area which mattered most to the future users of the products won out. We even had future users showing us the products before the demo was even over.

Like to use Relatively simple Easy to use Technical support not required Well integrated Consistent Quick to learn Convenient Feel confident using Familiar | None |
- The single best feature of the Dayforce product is the ease-of-use, visual representation, and user interface. Throughout the product, the end user experience is always thought of and well-executed.
- Even for administrators, the UI is similar to the end-user. Sure, you can write your own code if that's your cup of tea, but you can also point-and-click your way around your 1000+ site organization with ease.
- The financial planning elements of the product are even easy to navigate, which isn't very common for HCM tools in the industry.
- While not difficult, batch processing planning or merchandising data across many sites and date intervals can take time. Although offline batch processing makes the process seamless, just time-consuming.
Yes, but I don't use it
