Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM

Dayforce is being used by all employees. We use Dayforce for time and attendance for our hourly employees as well as employee self-service for all employees, manager self-service for workforce administration, and for HR, payroll and benefits processing in our HR division, including recruitment, onboarding, online enrollment for benefits, tax filing, record-keeping, etc.
  • Ability to process future dated payrolls.
  • Seeing labor costs of schedules, past, present, and future, right in the timesheets.
  • Automatic retro pay calculations for missed hours as well as back-dated pay changes.
  • Sometimes the roll outs of upgrades are hard to keep up with to include proper testing and training before implementing.
  • First level support could be a bit more knowledgeable, but it's not difficult to get an issue moved to the appropriate support staff for resolution.
  • Longer timelines for implementation might be helpful for most customers.
  • We have achieved cost savings through increased productivity and efficiency. Increased efficiency and productivity both from our managers as well as HR, benefits, and payroll staff.
  • We process fewer manual checks with include banking and processing fees we are now currently saving.
  • We have fully functional ESS and MSS now, so we are saving on postage and printing that was previously required.
We were able to configure our timesheets and pay rules to comply with NY and CA regulations, including very specific retail and hospitality regulations in NY as well as the standard complexities that exist in CA.
We are now able to include all information regarding a candidate in one location, electronically, for the entire employee life-cycle. This makes a huge impact on our efficiencies, as we before we were using 6 different applications to manage the employee life-cycle.
Dayforce has increased our accuracy in payroll processing by eliminating paper submissions to HR and data entry issues. We are also able to process items more timely in general, and payroll processing time has been reduced from 2.5 days to 4 hours each week.
