Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM

Ceridian's Dayforce HCM has been our workforce management solution for over 3 years now, and it's been instrumental in streamlining our people management. We utilize the system for job postings, application processing, interview management, hiring, onboarding, schedules, employee time, time sheets, manager approvals, payroll, benefits, paperless file management, compliance management and performance review. With 8 YMCA branch locations, plus 20 offsite program locations, having a fully integrated HRIS is critical to the management of our 800+ employees. And as Ceridian enhances their product through release updates, we continue to refine our ability to manage employee, remain compliant, and develop our staff leaders.

  • With every HCM solution, there are going to be speed bumps along the way which create difficulties. Over the past 3 years, our organization has seen our share of these issues. As we experience issues we work with Ceridian to have it resolved, or create best practices to work within the product's framework. Compared to other HCM solutions, the positives in Dayforce far outweigh any negatives.
  • We've been able to save on staff time throughout the organization, plus protecting our organization from being out of compliance.
Their rules engine ensures that we are compliant with healthcare regulations, overtime costs, state taxes, hours worked for employees, and our organization's retirement plan. It also includes easy to use reports that provide hard data from the system to ensure that everything is working as intended.
We are able to manage employees throughout their employee lifecycle, to make better hiring decisions and to make it easier on employees and their managers to meet their goals.

We experienced issues with our previous provider when working between different modules. We also experienced issues with needing certain requirements that were unavailable. Using Dayforce has allowed us to manage employees seamless across locations, departments and levels of the organization, allowing us to focus on our mission of serving the community.
DayforceHCM is well suited to any organization that is looking for a comprehensive employee management system that incorporates usability for employees, managers and HR leadership.
