Cisco 1000 Series Integrated Services Routers are used especially for voice gateway connections, but the configuration is not so easy for a large scale implementation and the debugging features are missing, you only have the CLI, but it's not usable for a large deployment.

the fact that we don't need other devices to act as firewall or AP it's the reason why we use it, it's easy to use since you can configure everything very well directly on it.

The implementation basically works, you configure it and it's easy to use, the problem with implementation using this kind of products is the fact that complex things require very complex configurations and the troubleshooting is too complicated due to a missing web interface or missing integrations that simplify that part.
troubleshooting consist only in debugging via CLI.
