Due to its simplified management, my organization has benefited especially helping to reduce the workload on IT staff and simplify security operations. Also, by providing comprehensive threat protection and reducing the risk of cyber attacks, the Firepower 1000 Series can help to ensure that critical business applications are always available.
In our case, we noted that Cisco Firepower 1000 achieved more than 98% of security effectiveness rating in the intrusion prevention system (IPS), with no false positives. It provides reliable threat protection and maintains high throughput during security inspections, once properly set up, it operates smoothly and effectively.
In our location, we have around 250 users and the performance is very good with margin of growth
We only required support during intial setup related to licensing stuff
Cisco Meraki MX is much more simple to configure it if you compare to Cisco Firepower 1000, but it is more limited to pur some complex configurations. The Cisco Firepower 1000 Series is typically deployed as a physical appliance, while the Meraki MX can be deployed as a physical or virtual appliance.The Firepower 1000 Series has a more complex user interface, with a steeper learning curve, but offers more customization and configuration options. The Meraki MX has a simpler, more intuitive interface,

If you are not a experienced engineer in Cisco, it could be though to implement, In that case, I would recommend to use Meraki MX Firewall.But if you need to be more flexible in your infrastructure (mid-sized businesses), to implement complex configurations Cisco Firepower 1000 Series is a good startup.
