Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headset 700 Series
I mainly used the headset primarily for calls and video conferences for work. Although primarily used for work they also provide the benefit of high-quality audio and active noise canceling so I also used them to listen to music and podcasts both at work and also in transit. It great to have one headset that suits most use cases.
- Great looking headset
- High quality audio
- Noise canceling works extremely well
- Expensive in a competitive market
- Although expensive, you get what you pay for with crystal clear audio on meetings.
- Being able to use this headset for multiple scenarios also makes the cost easier to justify.
The headset pairs with ease (although this is expected). They have a quick charging time and you can pair two devices at once. The controls are great allowing easy on ear call and music control, letting you play/pause music and answer calls. A great feature is mute notification, the headset notifies you if you speak when the microphone is muted while in a meeting.
The headsets high quality audio has provided a great experience on both calls and meetings. Feed back on the quality of the microphone from people at the other end of the call was also complementary. Although not necessary for my environment, the noise canceling function is also a nice to have feature which does improve the remote meeting experience.
Although the Headsets have a mobile app that lets you customise the headset from a mobile device, I left mine for the most part on default. I only used the app to upgrade the headset. I left the noise cancellation and equalizer settings alone. The app was also easy to download, use and to set the headphones up.
