Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MG

Cisco Meraki MG helps you remain connected all the time. It uses a technology of a cloud managed WAN (Wide Area Network) designed to seamlessly provide a transfer of Cellular signals (LTE) to your ethernet for regular or connectivity in times of a failure of regular ethernet connectivity. It more or less acts like a backup for your internet connectivity for your enterprise. The great thing about it is that it is seamless. You will not face any delay or interruption. It helped our company remain connected even in times of internet connectivity failure thus helping our business run continuosly with no downtime.
  • Seamless changeover to LTE (Cellulor network) in times of failure of ethernet connectivity in your company.
  • Continuous backup for ethernet. No Downtime experienced.
  • It provides you with ability to manage all devices in your network.
  • Next generation Firewall, Traffic Shaper and Internet Gateway that is centrally managed on web.
  • Meraki Products are not configured to operate offline.
  • Had some issues with filtering features.
  • Advanced features need to be easy to access for users. Should be more user friendly.

1. Cisco Meraki MG is a plug and play setup. We had no issues in terms of setup.
2. It is very easy to deploy however we need to register with cloud first as it is managed by cloud based WAN.
3. It scales and integrates well with multiple access points.
I have not integrated any other cisco products with Cisco Meraki MG. However, I plan to do the same in near future.
I think it is a very reliable, flexible and easy to deploy and use Internet Solution provided by Cisco. Very easy registration on web. Very user friendly in operations. Good Value for Money. Excellent ROI.
Cisco Meraki MG is the first product in this domain that I have used. So may not be able to draw a comparison with competitors. However whatever I have experienced till now has been very good. I can say that it is worth it's value.
Some of the scenarious where it is well suited:
1. If you want a non stop internet connectivity for yourself or your enterprise, then it is a great idea to use Cisco Meraki MG.
2. It uses a technology of cloud managed WAN and transposes cellulor (LTE) data signals through router for ethernet connectivity. So it is great on technology.
3. If you want a seamless internet connectivity when there is a regular ethernet connectivity failure, then it is very suitable.

Scenarious where it is less appropriate:
1. Cisco Meraki MG does not work offline. So no use if you are trying to use it without internet connectivity.
