Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MR
To provide internal and external Wi-Fi network access to staff, visitors, contractors, and third-party contractors. We have this implemented at all of our sites and is used by all staff for their mobile devices, tablets, corporate laptops, and other meeting room equipment.
- Easy administration.
- Easy deployment.
- Easy scale-out configuration.
- Easy hardware upgradability.
- Ease to integrate to AD for single sign on options.
- A little slow on adopting the latest Wi-Fi channel and speed options.
- Not always the cheapest device when compared with some competing companies products.
- Cannot really manage the Wi-Fi unit on premise when you have internet access issues.
- Very easy deployment when we moved a major office location.
- When we added special business needs we were able to add a Wi-Fi channel for special access with minimal IT effort and configuration.
- Easy to setup, deploy and install when we have added remote sites.
- D-Link Wireless and Aruba Networks Wireless LAN (WLAN)
I have found Cisco Meraki is easier to build, configure, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot whether on-site or remotely. It also is easier to enable non-IT people to be able to help troubleshoot remotely when on IT resources are not on site.
